What:  This summer CCPS is pleased to offer mini “Master Classes” for CCPS students in Technology and Creative Arts. This is a brand new project to provide extra support for our students and families this summer.

  • These sessions will be taught by master instructors from CCPS and  professionals from the surrounding areas.
  • Each class will be done virtually through CCPS “Google Meet” platform.  A CCPS employee will facilitate EVERY session.

Why:       These classes are designed to...

  • give students who participate in our annual Student Tech Competition an early start in developing their tech skills and projects during this summer.
  • offer awesome opportunities for students to get involved in Creative Arts: music, art, and writing, illustrating, and possibly publishing children books

WHEN:  All classes will meet between June 1 - July 17, 2020.

(Each class will last about 30 mins. and most will meet between 2- 3 times)

How to Get Your KIDS Involved:

  • Review the catalog of classes  to select the appropriate Master Classes which are of interest to your child. Watch for updates as other classes may be added later.
  • Parents should click on the  Registration Link. to secure a seat for your child in any one or more of these classes.  Register early before May 27, 2020. Students will be seated on a “first come, first served” basis. If classes are too full, a waiting list will be created.

  • Only use the link to register one child at a time.
  • Students who are registered must have the items on the “materials” list in order to fully participate in each class.
  • Each parent and student will receive a reminder and a link to the Google Meet for their class at least a day or two before their selected class convenes.

Celebration: Students will have the opportunity to showcase what they have accomplished, as a result of these classes, via a “Virtual Show & Tell” video.
